This Isn't Just Support.

It's Real Help That Sticks

Why This Isn’t Just Another NDIS Service

You know when support feels right.

It’s not about ticking boxes or reading scripts.

It’s about feeling seen, safe, and heard.

Born From Lived Experience

Evan, the founder, was just 12 when he started volunteering.

Back then, it was with the Down Syndrome Centre.

The name might have changed, but the heart behind it stuck.

This Work Gets Personal, Because It Is

Later, it was working in hospitals, doing massage therapy, and supporting people with real, tough stuff: injuries, disabilities, mental health challenges, trauma.

Not from a distance. Up close. Messy. Meaningful.

Add in two daughters with cleft lip and palate, and a whole world of appointments, advocacy, and standing up to bullies.

Evan’s been through it, not just as a worker, but as a dad.

How We Work With You

At Evansent, support isn’t done for you. It’s done with you.

That might mean setting up a sublimation printer for a blind artist and helping her sell her creations online.

It might look like picking up someone’s meds and walking them through a panic attack on the way home.

Real Help, In Real Moments

It might be about feeding someone’s dogs, fixing their tech, moving furniture, and then cracking jokes while crossing the street safely together.

Support isn’t about paperwork. It’s about people.

Meet The People Behind The Care

Evan
The one who shows up

Louise
Strength behind the scenes

Ben
Calm & Thinking ahead

Evan calls himself a “support worker, not a do worker.” Why? Because it’s not about taking over.

It’s about helping you stay in control of your own life, just with someone there to back you up when things get tricky.

He’s been doing this kind of work for over 30 years. And not just ticking off a list, it’s about really showing up.

Whether it’s cleaning, cooking, crisis response, or conversations that matter, Evan’s been there. And stayed.

Louise has been part of Evansent from the early days. She prefers to keep out of the spotlight, but her impact is huge.

She’s bubbly, kind, and full of quiet loyalty, the kind of person who remembers the little things that make a big difference.

Louise brings a calm energy to the team, supporting people with consistency, warmth, and genuine care.

She’s got lived experience too, caring for someone close to her with significant needs, so she just gets it. No fuss, no ego, just a steady presence you can count on.

Then there’s Ben. New to the team, but already known for how steady and sharp he is.

When a PTSD situation arose, Ben deescalated it calmly and safely.

He made sure everyone was okay, documented it properly, and followed every procedure. He’s methodical, respectful, and brings a quiet kind of confidence that makes people feel safe.

Ben relates well to people from other cultures. He came to Australia as a young man

It's About You, Not Just Your NDIS Plan

Here, you’re not your condition. You’re not your plan. You’re not your funding line.

Real Life, Real Needs

You’re a person who deserves to get out into the world. Or stay in and feel safe.

Or go for a drive, pull some weeds, laugh at bad jokes, and feel like you again.

You might be using a hoist, a wheelchair, a prosthetic or just figuring things out day by day.

You might need help with showering, getting dressed or general personal care.

Or someone to read the mail and explain what Centrelink actually means. It all counts.

North Brisbane Locals,

Not Suits Behind Desks

EvanSent is a small, independent business in Lawnton. No call centres.

No big corporate machine.

Just local workers who know the area, know the people, and know how to help.

The Work Doesn’t End When The Shift Does

You might see Evan around town with lawn tools in the back of the ute or picking up meds for someone.

This work doesn’t stop when the shift ends.

That’s the difference. It’s real.

Need To Talk Things Through? We’re Here

You don’t need to explain everything over the phone.

Just send a quick message and someone who gets it will be in touch.
